caught a shock last night
i thought i heard a baby screaming outside
it was nothing to my surprise
my head's been swelling for some time
dissipating sun, something holding under
why couldn't winter run?
using sleep to get relief from what i haven't done, oh sean
you could've been someone
called it off last night
i left my brain by the roadside
i' shedding skin, and i'm recycling regret from a chance that i missed
i called in sick to the precipice, i wake up and i'm glad that i still exist
stuck to a heated kitchen, i had to concentrate, on the movement of my eyes, as they scoured the blinds
take mental pictures, try not to faint, make it back to bed again.
The music of Reading group Chaos Emeralds feels like it weighs megatons, with its thick rivers of distorted guitar and gluey textures. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 15, 2022
This collaborative album considers the notion of time, with each of its electroacoustic tracks unfurling at a measured pace. Bandcamp New & Notable May 1, 2023
