it was nothing to my surprise
my head's been swelling for some time

dissipating sun, something holding under
why couldn't winter run?
using sleep to get relief from what i haven't done, oh sean
you could've been someone

called it off last night
i left my brain by the roadside

i' shedding skin, and i'm recycling regret from a chance that i missed
i called in sick to the precipice, i wake up and i'm glad that i still exist

stuck to a heated kitchen, i had to concentrate, on the movement of my eyes, as they scoured the blinds
take mental pictures, try not to faint, make it back to bed again.
